Hi, I'm Natalia and I was born in Colombia. I lived in the first years of my life on a small island in the middle of the ocean and then I moved to 2,600 meters above sea level, to Bogota, where I graduated in Art. The passion for sculpture and terracotta has always accompanied me, even in Italy, where I moved about 5 years ago (first to Faenza and then to Bologna) to specialize in ceramics.

I founded my studio when I was very young, in 2010, and I was lucky enough to work as an art director taking care of catalogs, stands and the image of some Italian and foreign brands. This was a great training ground for understanding the importance of the image that a product conveys.

I am a designer, I also deal with graphics, art direction and training and I created Le Morandine, a collection of objects inspired by Morandi's still lifes. Le Morandine, I would like to say, are not a simple reference to Giorgio Morandi's art, but a real relational design project. Through these “inspirational artifacts”, I would like people to create interactions, with each other, with things, between them and Morandi, between them and me.

I am an Italian designer and ceramist, originally from Milan and currently living in Rotterdam. My work ranges from pottery made on the wheel to handbuilt pieces, from small everyday objects to iconic pieces that mix functionality and artistic expression.

We are Stefano Bassan and Gianluca Sigismondi (24), we graduated in Product Design in 2019 at the IED European Institute of Design in Milan. We started collaborating during the course of studies concluded with a thesis together. During the conclusion of the thesis we supported the CARA \ DAVIDE studio working on different projects, especially the one for Rinascente. From here was born the right energy that led us to create Finemateria.

I grew up between New York City and the Eolian island of Lipari. I had a creative upbringing and was immersed in both American and Italian culture which had a huge influence on me becoming an artist. I studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and in 2019 I started Idda Studio as a way to bring my paintings to live through fabric.

We are Mediterranean. We want to take you to the unique, utopian place where our vision of the world and of things is. By creating unique pieces, without creative constraints, art, craftsmanship and design come together. Without setting ourselves, therefore, limits in terms of materials, techniques and tools to be used in order to communicate our vision

Inspiration comes from observation, from beauty, from the accumulation of information, even in spite of ourselves that settle in our memory. At some point I want to give life to what I feel. So I am looking for the “writers” of my thought, in this case the architects Lazzarini & Pickering who know how to give an aesthetic response to my creative intellectual need.
